"Dirigo" is the motto of the State of Maine — Latin for "I lead" — and it reflects the spirit that drives this committee. We invest in candidates who are willing to stand up, do the hard work, and lead with integrity. Since our founding, Dirigo Freedom has supported principled leaders across Maine and the country — Senators, Representatives, and state party organizations who share a commitment to limited government, personal freedom, strong communities, and bipartisan problem-solving when it serves the public good. We believe politics should be about results, not rhetoric.
